A COUPLE OF DONS: September 8, 1973 Don Adams and Don Rickles shared a fun filled comedy special that featured a comical look at the movies including a hilarious take off of THE GODFATHER, THE CAINE MUTINY. BOB - CAROL - TED AND ALICE and PLANET OF THE APES. Guests are Sally Kellerman, George Segal, and Jackson Sisters.A highlight of the show was Don Rickles performing his famous night club act with Jack Benny, James Caan, Chiro, Redd Foxx, Jack Klugman, Michael Landon, Dick Martin, Ed McMahan, Ricardo Montabaum, Greg Morris and Bob Newhart. It has been nearly 40 years since this special was first broadcast and it has not been seen since. BOB NEWHART SPECIAL 1980: May 29, 1980 this highly rated special was broadcast. Skits included Bob attempting to do grocery shopping, as a waiter in a fancy restaurant and as a news man on a local TV station. Picture and sound quality of this show is excellent in spite of a few minor tracking issues. It should not interfere with the enjoyment of watching this very rare classic. Comes with Case.
