  1. tv time-travel conundrum; a pre-emptive spotlight 5 Star Review

Posted by on Aug 13th 2020

i am a TV time-travel mad scientist, when it comes to trippin on television history as recorded in real time on home videocassette tapes, lovingly transferred onto DVD. when commercials compliment the programs it truly is the closest thing we possess in this dastardly future wasteland to actual time-travel escapist entertainment in its purest potency. i have my own personal homemade collection that starts in the mid-late 80z, but when any 70z / early 80z taped TV pops up i snatch em up quick. its my thing. i have yet 2 aquire this one - i plan on purchasing it after i write this - i proudly own all the other " nights of tv" offered here + believe in the gospel of them wholeheartedly, as an archivist.
    my conundrum is this :
the fantastic underrated FAMILY aired on ABC on december 24, 1979 - a monday - at 10pm following a xmas made 4 tv special starring marie osmond. after FAMILY, of course, was the news.
ABCz hit CHARLIES ANGELZ aired at 9pm on wedz , dec 26, 1979, followed by VEGA$ at 10pm...
this is according 2 my tv guide from that very week ( hoarder nerd alert !) even if this can be explained as a local listing versus anywhere else...christmas eve that year WAS on a monday + the angelz held steady on wedz nites **** what kind of mandela effect sorcery is this? eitherway i am thrilled 2 unravel this spelling/goldberg mystery by indulging in this tv time-travel event once + 4 all. if anyone at 70s-TV.com has any insight, pleez enlighten me ! AND thanx 4 all this essential preservation work u all do - i appreciate it more than anyone.
