I recently acquired the entire Donny & Marie Series Master Tapes. This NEW 8 disc set includes the 1975 Pilot, ALL 14 episodes filmed for the first season in 1976 and NEW artwork. The Quality is very good and I have done extra video corrections as these tapes are over 40 years old. The tapes do have the producers time code running at the bottom of the screen. Comes with Case & Artwork.

Television at its Best!

I was thrilled to find that I could get this show on DVD! The shows look remarkably good, especially considering their age and the technology of the time. There are occasion imperfections, but nothing serious. The show run-time clock is visible on most of the episodes. I did not find it as distracting as I feared. In fact, I easily ignored it. It is so worth having this show available any time I want. Not only are Donny and Marie at their fresh faced best, but performances by up-and-coming stars like Suzanne Sommers and Cheryl Ladd and established greats like Milton Berle and Edgar Bergan are preserved for all time. In an age of cynicism and negativity, this show is a welcome antidote of wholesome inclusiveness. I cannot recommend it highly enough!
