I recently acquired the entire Donny & Marie Series Master Tapes. This NEW 8 disc set includes ALL 23 episodes filmed for the third season in 1977-78 and NEW artwork. The Quality is very good and I have done extra video corrections as these tapes are over 40 years old. The tapes do have the producers time code running at the bottom of the screen. Comes with Case & Artwork.

Great Season of Donny and Marie

The third season of "Donny and Marie" is probably the most slicked up season, with high production values, animated interstitials, and big spoof musicals. This season was filmed in Utah at the Osmond's new studio. They change the Ice Vanities for the Ice Angels, but essentially the format remains the same. The "It Takes Two" comedy vignettes are pretty funny. The concert spots are really good. The show retains it charm and is a draw for big named talent of the day. The picture and sound quality on the DVDs is excellent. As with the other seasons, the show run time clock is visible but not intrusive. Every fan will be thrilled with this collection!
